Constipation is a
problem that may ever be experienced by everyone. Many consider constipation is
only a minor annoyance that can disappear or simply because of lack of fiber.
Basically, the normal frequency of bowel movements each person differ from one
another, maybe about three times a day or may be about once every three days.
The man who suffer this problem was called Constipation. The people which get
Chronic Constipation is called obstipasi. And if you get chronic obstipasi, you
will suffer colon cancer.
Constipation can be
interpreted as on the movement disruption
of the gastrointestinal tract, so it cause difficulty in defecation or bowel
movement frequency to be reduced. There are so many caused of constipation
problem. The caused of constipation include Systemic deseases and Non Systemic
deseases. As a systemic disease that can affect the movement of the
gastrointestinal tract or constipation include:
1.
Diabetes
mellitus.
Diabetes
mellitus causes damage to the nerves that cause constipation and other symptoms
such as difficulty in swallowing, orthostatic hypotension, fainting, pain due
to a full bladder, and in men with impotence and premature retrogard.
2.
Multiple
sclerosis.
Multiple
sclerosis is a disease that attacks the nerve as a whole so that the clinic is
one manifestation of symptoms of constipation in addition to other neurological
disorders.
Influence of other
constipation is the wrong habits or stress of the patient because of the wrong
lifestyle. This factors can be called as Non Systemic deseases. The habit that
is often done include:
1.
Habit
to resist the urge to defecate, resulting in disruption in the movement of the
gastrointestinal tract.
2.
Less
food fiber
3.
Chronic
anxiety that affects the muscles work as a whole and lower than the bowel
movement.
4.
Drug
use in particular types of morphine and its derivatives.
Among all the causes,
the wrong habits or stress are the most frequent causes of constipation without
reducing the likelihood of the disease in lower gastrointestinal tract and
systemic diseases. Try to practice regular bowel movements. The best for bowel
movement is only once a day, especially in the morning. Drink lots of water will
help you, so that, your digestion will be smooth. Eating fruits and vegetables which
rich in fiber is a must that you should do. The final step, doing exercise
regularly.
